The older I get, the less sure I am about most everything. I wrote this back in the late 1980s, and it's even truer today. It's a stark piano song that reminds me a little of Billy Joel's "Souvenirs" that he used to close concerts with.

I used to do as I was told
But who's to tell when I get old?
I’m not so sure
`cause many things I used to say
Have turned out another way
And now I’m not so sure

But I’ve always been sure of you...
Oh, I’ve always been sure of you.

Men will come and men will go —
How many men before the world will know?
I’m not so sure.
There's a wise man, there's a fool,
There's a boy who prays in school
(or does he — I’m not so sure)

But I’ve always been sure of you...
Oh, I’ve always been sure of you.

I’m sure you know my voice.
I’m sure of one small choice.

Who's to tell what lies ahead?
Who's to say what's not been said already?
I’m not so sure.
I read the signs, I hear the news —
What's the world really got to lose?
I’m not so sure.

But I’ve always been sure of you
Oh my lord, I’ve always been sure of you
Oh, I’ve always been sure of you.

Perhaps better known as one half of the Delta Twins, "Sky" is a prolific composer with alter egos to suit each style of music. Here he explores an indie/folk/acoustic sound while playing all the instruments.

He's not one to limit himself to one genre. Perhaps that's the basis for his "Sky's The Limit Studios". Or maybe because his high school basketball nickname was "Sky". Or...?
